Teaching your rescue dogs bc tricks

A dog is a very intelligent and playful animal. That’s why you can teach your dog many exciting and fun tricks if you know the right way to train them. The most important thing that’s required when helping your rescue dogs bc learn tricks is patience. Some dogs might be able to learn quickly while some can take a while. It all depends on how determined you are as well as your strategy. There are many different tricks you can teach your dog. However, someone tricks are necessary for helping your dog stay away from danger.

The ‘Respond to the clicker’ trick is considered as the foundation of all other tricks. This is taught using a ‘click-and-treat’ process. In simple terms, the dog responds to the click each time, and you give your pet a small treat. This trick teaches the dog to associate getting a treat or praise with a click. You can also use this trick to move on to teaching other things to you dogs for adoption bc.

Some of the important tricks you should teach your dog is to come to you on command (this can save your dog’s life eventually), picking up things on command, the ‘Heel’ trick (teaching your rescue dogs bc to walk beside you without pulling you), and commanding them to bring something to you. Some fun tricks that can be taught include rolling over, playing dead, and even giving you a high-five or shaking hands.

The important thing to keep in mind is that patience is key when teaching tricks to your dog. You’ll need to teach it to associate doing the action you want with a treat or praise and the slowly bringing them to a point where they’ll follow your command even when there’s no treat involved. Also, don’t be harsh. Use a gentle yet firm tone to help your dogs for adoption bc understand what you want him or her to do without making them feel scared of you.
