What we believe

The idea behind Dog Days is to simply create a way for people to help animals and people in need in their communities. Instead of asking for donations like most charities we want to provide our customers with great products that they are going to love and enjoy wearing because of the cause they believe in that we represent. We believe in giving back and strenghtening our community and in doing so people will easily support us and we will grow. This business model is called, 'Everyone Wins'. The customer wins because they get a great product that they are proud to wear, the community wins because we donate half of our profit to support ideas and causes that people believe in, and Dog Days wins because we enjoy loyal customers that appreciate what we are trying to accomplish.

Our goal is to help reduce the amount of needless suffering of animals and people in Canada. We do this in a few different ways. We sell products and then donate half (50%) of all profit to support animal rescue and dog rescue partner organizations across Canada. We send them money so they can care for their dogs and help them buy dog food to keep them healthy. We support dogs for adoption in the volunteer based foster care systems across Canada as well.

We are branching out to extend our aid to behin to help people in need who would benefit tremendously from a service animal. We have partnered with programs that train and pair service dogs and guide dogs for veterans and first responders who are living wiht PTSD as a result of time in the service protecting Canada as well as the disabled, autistic, blind or deaf. When one of these people who can benefit from a service or guide dog is paired with one, their lives improve and they can go on to lead their best life, or begin to heal, whatever their condition is.

Our goal is to reduce needless suffering in Canada. With your support, together we can make this happen. If you appreciate what we are setting out to do please share this with your friends and help us get exposure to new people in our great country. - Andy B

Slowly we are spreading the aid we provide to animal rescues to help rescue dogs in every province including British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario, Quebec, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Newfoundland and Labrador, Nunavut, Yukon and Northwest Territories.
